# PMI vs MLA

The clearest difference is update cadence: MLA at every 4 weeks against PMI's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PMI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and MLA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PMI ships an update every 2 months, MLA every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
