# INTVL vs TrailRun

The clearest difference is ads: TrailRun at none against INTVL's shown. TrailRun also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). INTVL's advantage is ratings volume (5.6K vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. INTVL sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and TrailRun sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TrailRun holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: INTVL has 5.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of INTVL's written reviews are positive against 100% of TrailRun's.

INTVL ships an update every 6 days, TrailRun fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
