# Case vs Exotix Card

Case and Exotix Card both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Exotix Card's written reviews are positive against 60% of Case's. Exotix Card also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). Case's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (1K vs 13). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Case against 5.0 for Exotix Card. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Case has 1K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Case's written reviews are positive against 100% of Exotix Card's.

Case ships an update fortnightly, Exotix Card every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
