# JOSLITZ vs Arithmetist

The clearest difference is ads: JOSLITZ at none against Arithmetist's shown. Arithmetist's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 9 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. JOSLITZ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Arithmetist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

JOSLITZ ships an update every 9 months, Arithmetist daily. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
