# Musical Multiplication vs Happy Digits

The clearest difference is rating: Happy Digits at 5.0 against Musical Multiplication's 4.3. Happy Digits also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). Musical Multiplication's advantage is ratings volume (165 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Musical Multiplication sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Happy Digits sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Happy Digits holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Musical Multiplication has 165 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Musical Multiplication ships an update every 2 months, Happy Digits every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
