# Syllabest vs Coconote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Syllabest at 100% against Coconote's 71%. Syllabest also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Coconote's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Syllabest sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Coconote sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Syllabest holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coconote has 17K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Syllabest's written reviews are positive against 71% of Coconote's.

Syllabest ships an update monthly, Coconote weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
