# Mementix vs Village Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Village Notes at weekly against Mementix's every 3 weeks. Mementix's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (23 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Mementix against 5.0 for Village Notes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mementix has 23 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mementix ships an update every 3 weeks, Village Notes weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
