# YoutooTV vs CC Short

The clearest difference is rating: CC Short at 4.7 against YoutooTV's 3.9. CC Short also leads on ratings volume (931 vs 17). YoutooTV's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (36% vs 24%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YoutooTV sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and CC Short sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CC Short holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CC Short has 931 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of YoutooTV's written reviews are positive against 24% of CC Short's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YoutooTV ships an update every 3 weeks, CC Short every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
