# HolyTime vs Bible Note

The clearest difference is monetization model: Bible Note at free with in-app purchases against HolyTime's subscription. Bible Note also leads on ratings volume (24K vs 391) and chart position (#24 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HolyTime sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Bible Note sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for HolyTime against 4.8 for Bible Note. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible Note has 24K ratings behind it against 391, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of HolyTime's written reviews are positive against 66% of Bible Note's.

HolyTime ships an update every 10 days, Bible Note weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
