# SMSVerify vs SimGo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SimGo at 63% against SMSVerify's 5%. SimGo also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). SMSVerify's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMSVerify sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SimGo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SMSVerify holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 148 and 51 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of SMSVerify's written reviews are positive against 63% of SimGo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SMSVerify ships an update every 4 weeks, SimGo every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
