# iTorah vs Rashi Script

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: iTorah at none against Rashi Script's 3. iTorah also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 2). Rashi Script's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rashi Script sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. iTorah asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for iTorah against 5.0 for Rashi Script. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iTorah has 1.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iTorah ships an update every 5 weeks, Rashi Script fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
