# B vs CyberGuard VPN

The clearest difference is monetization model: B at free with in-app purchases against CyberGuard VPN's subscription. B also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 169). CyberGuard VPN's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. B sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and CyberGuard VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for B against 4.4 for CyberGuard VPN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: B has 1.2K ratings behind it against 169, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of B's written reviews are positive against 67% of CyberGuard VPN's.

B ships an update every 4 weeks, CyberGuard VPN every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
