# ThingLink vs Panorama

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ThingLink at none against Panorama's 4. ThingLink also leads on review sentiment (38% vs 25%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Panorama's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and rating (4.1 vs 3.9). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Panorama sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. ThingLink asks for nothing beyond the download.

Panorama holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 48 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of ThingLink's written reviews are positive against 25% of Panorama's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ThingLink ships an update every 3 months, Panorama every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
