# Fuze House vs SaltDrop

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Fuze House at 445 against SaltDrop's 2. Fuze House also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). SaltDrop's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Fuze House against 5.0 for SaltDrop. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fuze House has 445 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fuze House ships an update monthly, SaltDrop every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
