# Tech Passport vs Code Weekly

The clearest difference is monetization model: Tech Passport at free against Code Weekly's free with in-app purchases. Tech Passport also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tech Passport sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Code Weekly sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tech Passport ships an update every 8 days, Code Weekly every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
