# Tech Passport vs DubCode

The clearest difference is monetization model: Tech Passport at free against DubCode's subscription. Tech Passport also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tech Passport sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and DubCode sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $64.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tech Passport ships an update every 8 days, DubCode every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 8, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
