# Watch Faces vs Watch Faces Gallery

The clearest difference is ads: Watch Faces Gallery at none against Watch Faces's shown. Watch Faces Gallery also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watch Faces sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Watch Faces Gallery sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Watch Faces Gallery holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch Faces Gallery has 105 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Watch Faces ships an update every 3 months, Watch Faces Gallery every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
