# Pomodoro vs FocusDrop

The clearest difference is ads: FocusDrop at none against Pomodoro's shown. FocusDrop also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomodoro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and FocusDrop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pomodoro ships an update every 4 months, FocusDrop every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
