# Limit vs StopScroll Screen Time Control

The clearest difference is rating: StopScroll Screen Time Control at 4.3 against Limit's 3.9. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Limit sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and StopScroll Screen Time Control sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StopScroll Screen Time Control holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Limit's written reviews are positive against 60% of StopScroll Screen Time Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Limit ships an update every 2 weeks, StopScroll Screen Time Control fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
