# LED Banner vs Show U

The clearest difference is ads: LED Banner at none against Show U's shown. LED Banner also leads on ratings volume (82 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Show U's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LED Banner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Show U sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Show U holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LED Banner has 82 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LED Banner ships an update fortnightly, Show U every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
