# Streaks vs Countdown Pro +

The clearest difference is update cadence: Streaks at every 6 weeks against Countdown Pro +'s every 3 months. Countdown Pro +'s advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Streaks sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Countdown Pro + sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Streaks ships an update every 6 weeks, Countdown Pro + every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
