# NMMA vs Iridium

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NMMA at none against Iridium's 7. NMMA also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (16.2 vs 18.0). Iridium's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Iridium sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. NMMA asks for nothing beyond the download.

NMMA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Iridium has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
