# ByToken vs Ascend Pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: ByToken at free against Ascend Pro's free with in-app purchases. ByToken also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.6). Ascend Pro's advantage is device support. On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ByToken sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Ascend Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ByToken against 5.0 for Ascend Pro. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.
