# Boop vs Faxo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Boop at 100% against Faxo's 50%. Boop also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Faxo's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (239 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Faxo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Faxo holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Faxo has 239 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Boop's written reviews are positive against 50% of Faxo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
