# Mail Docs vs AI Notebook

The clearest difference is ads: Mail Docs at none against AI Notebook's shown. Mail Docs also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). AI Notebook's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (188 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mail Docs sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and AI Notebook sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mail Docs holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Notebook has 188 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mail Docs ships an update every 2 months, AI Notebook weekly. The most recent releases landed on June 26, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
