# Mail Docs vs Calends

The clearest difference is update cadence: Calends at every 3 days against Mail Docs's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mail Docs sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Calends sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mail Docs ships an update every 2 months, Calends every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
