# Sober vs Carevazo

The clearest difference is monetization model: Carevazo at freemium against Sober's subscription. Carevazo also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 84%). Sober's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sober sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Carevazo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Carevazo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sober has 1.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 84% of Sober's written reviews are positive against 100% of Carevazo's.
