# Boomerang vs Booma

The clearest difference is ads: Booma at none against Boomerang's shown. Booma also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Boomerang's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boomerang sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Booma sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Boomerang ships an update every 2 months, Booma every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
