# ReadingClock vs Classix

The clearest difference is ads: ReadingClock at none against Classix's shown. Classix's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReadingClock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Classix sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReadingClock ships an update fortnightly, Classix weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
