# Pointment vs Tize

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pointment at none against Tize's 2. Pointment also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 18.6). Tize's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (31 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tize sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Pointment asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Pointment against 5.0 for Tize. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tize has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pointment ships an update every 2 months, Tize fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
