# ShadowTalk vs Lyfepass

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lyfepass at weekly against ShadowTalk's every 8 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShadowTalk sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Lyfepass sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
