# ShadowTalk vs Miniminds AI

The clearest difference is update cadence: Miniminds AI at every 3 weeks against ShadowTalk's every 8 months. ShadowTalk's advantage is iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShadowTalk sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Miniminds AI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ShadowTalk ships an update every 8 months, Miniminds AI every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
