# PerchLens vs RYOBI

The clearest difference is rating: RYOBI at 4.7 against PerchLens's 1.9. RYOBI also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 335) and review sentiment (30% vs 12%). PerchLens's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RYOBI holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RYOBI has 13K ratings behind it against 335, so its average is the more settled of the two.
