# Match Squad vs Word Association

The clearest difference is update cadence: Match Squad at weekly against Word Association's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Match Squad sells 18 one-off in-app purchases and Word Association sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Match Squad ships an update weekly, Word Association fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
