# AlKhan vs Cool Eats

The clearest difference is ads: AlKhan at none against Cool Eats's shown. AlKhan also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (60 vs 10). Cool Eats's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for AlKhan against 5.0 for Cool Eats. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AlKhan has 60 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

AlKhan ships an update every 5 weeks, Cool Eats every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
