# The Mint vs Mohave Connect

The Mint and Mohave Connect both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Mohave Connect's written reviews are positive against 64% of The Mint's. Mohave Connect also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). The Mint's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mohave Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Mint has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
