# Radii + vs Friction Network

The clearest difference is monetization model: Radii + at free with in-app purchases against Friction Network's subscription. Radii + also leads on ratings volume (277 vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). Friction Network's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Radii + sells 19 one-off in-app purchases and Friction Network sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Friction Network holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Radii + has 277 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Radii + ships an update every 7 months, Friction Network every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
