# HeatShort vs CC Short

The clearest difference is rating: CC Short at 4.7 against HeatShort's 3.0. CC Short also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (932 vs 4). HeatShort's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HeatShort sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per 7 days and CC Short sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CC Short has 932 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
