# Makeover vs Codex!

The clearest difference is ads: Codex! at none against Makeover's shown. Codex! also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). Makeover's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Makeover against 5.0 for Codex!. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Codex! has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
