# DigitalCounter vs Counter Pro

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DigitalCounter at none against Counter Pro's 4. DigitalCounter also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (18 vs 2). Counter Pro's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Counter Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. DigitalCounter asks for nothing beyond the download.

Counter Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DigitalCounter has 18 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
