# Slick Reminders vs Echo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Echo at every 5 weeks against Slick Reminders's every 3 months. Echo also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slick Reminders sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Echo sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slick Reminders ships an update every 3 months, Echo every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
