# Remote for Samsung TV Smart vs Smart Things

The clearest difference is monetization model: Smart Things at free against Remote for Samsung TV Smart's subscription. Remote for Samsung TV Smart's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 177) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Remote for Samsung TV Smart sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Smart Things sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote for Samsung TV Smart has 14K ratings behind it against 177, so its average is the more settled of the two.
