# Brain Training vs HAB Detection

The clearest difference is rating: HAB Detection at 5.0 against Brain Training's 4.2. HAB Detection also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). Brain Training's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain Training sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. HAB Detection asks for nothing beyond the download.

HAB Detection holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brain Training has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Brain Training ships an update every 3 weeks, HAB Detection every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
