# Brain Training vs DBT Academy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Brain Training at every 3 weeks against DBT Academy's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain Training sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and DBT Academy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
