# Report Ready vs Patrol Toolkit

The clearest difference is monetization model: Patrol Toolkit at free against Report Ready's free with in-app purchases. Patrol Toolkit also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 89%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Report Ready's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (259 vs 8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Report Ready sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Patrol Toolkit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Report Ready holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Report Ready has 259 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Report Ready's written reviews are positive against 100% of Patrol Toolkit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Report Ready ships an update every 3 weeks, Patrol Toolkit every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
