# AlbenPlus vs ShotShield

The clearest difference is update cadence: ShotShield at every 6 days against AlbenPlus's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AlbenPlus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ShotShield sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AlbenPlus ships an update fortnightly, ShotShield every 6 days. Both last shipped on September 24, 2026.
