# Prodify vs Hourglass

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hourglass at every 10 days against Prodify's every 6 weeks. Prodify's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 26.2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Prodify against 5.0 for Hourglass. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prodify has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Prodify ships an update every 6 weeks, Hourglass every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
