# Filoli vs Last Chinatown

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Filoli at 344 against Last Chinatown's 2. Last Chinatown's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 weeks) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Filoli against 5.0 for Last Chinatown. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Filoli has 344 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Filoli ships an update every 5 weeks, Last Chinatown every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
