# Instagig vs Calvis

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Instagig at 100% against Calvis's 63%. Calvis's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Calvis holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Instagig's written reviews are positive against 63% of Calvis's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Instagig ships an update every 2 months, Calvis weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
