# Grid vs SaySimons

The clearest difference is rating: SaySimons at 5.0 against Grid's 4.4. SaySimons also leads on ads (none vs shown). Grid's advantage is ratings volume (68 vs 2) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grid sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per 7 days and SaySimons sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $16.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SaySimons holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grid has 68 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Grid ships an update every 6 days, SaySimons fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
